Spring means one thing for IPMAS, the annual TASBO Conference! Every year hundreds of Texas school board officials, leaders and management personnel come together to share, learn and engage with each other. We love being part of the annual conference Expo to display the latest and greatest in RFID reader and tag technology. This year, we had the privilege of leading a learning session on “Continuous Asset Validation – Making Annual Inventory Management Easier.”
Our team provided the participants with some history and background on how the idea of Continuous Asset Validation – moving past painful annual inventory efforts to a process that provides real time inventory reports and location data has become the most effective way to track assets. Craig Sadler, CTO described how RFID technology made this process sustainable and profitable for large enterprise-sized clients. Sheila McIlnay, CEO made the business case for why this makes sense for any industry that has to report to a regulatory agency to track their assets in real time. School districts that have EDGAR requirements fit this business care perfectly.
The learning sessions at TASBO are a great way for vendors, like IPMAS, to understand the needs and challenges that district leaders are facing while also sharing our expertise and knowledge in an engaging and informative way. Attendees left with our Case Study of the full experience of Continuous Asset Validation.
